FFL Transfers
What Is an FFL Transfer?
A Federal Firearms License (FFL) transfer is required when buying or shipping a firearm through a licensed dealer. All firearm transfers must comply with federal law and Louisiana state law, including background checks and ID verification.
Inbound Transfers (Guns You Ordered Online)

Purchase the firearm and have it shipped to our FFL.

Ask the seller to email us for our license.

We’ll notify you when your firearm arrives.

Come in with a valid Louisiana photo ID to complete the Form 4473 and background check.

Once approved, you can take possession.

Louisiana Requirements:

Must be 18+ for rifles/shotguns, 21+ for handguns
-
Must be a Louisiana resident for handgun transfers
-
No state permit is required for standard firearm purchases
-
Transfers are subject to NICS background checks
Transfer Fee: $50 fee per transfer
Firearms must be picked up within 30 days of arrival.
We are not offering Outbound Transfers at this time.
